Who's Who Veronica Haun

My name is Veronica Haun and I'm a junior. I'm a psych/government double major and a member of Beta sorority. I'm from the Buckle of the Bible Belt, a small city in Virginia which is run by a member of the Moral Majority (a man my friends in high school and I enjoyed giving the bird to when he drove by our bus stops.)

I am very close to my mother, who I love but who can piss me off faster than anyone else. She's mroe like an over protective older sister. She's still married to my father, much to my dismay. My father and I seldom speak for a variety of reasons.

Socially, I am a hodge-podge of lots of different personalities. My friends are divided into my Beta sisters who I am very much like and my non-Greek freshman hall friends who I have nothing in common with but take great pleasure in shocking and joking around with. I have a reputation with both groups as being a bit wild and experimental, and am often referred to jokinly as "Mistress," a title I gladly accepted and respond to even in my email account.

Last year, I did find the love of my life in my boyfriend, Elliott. He goes to school about an hour away and I see him when I can. I often tell him that he saved me from myself. He is my rock, my sanity, my driving force. He came along and screwed up my predestined plans for a life of bitchiness, one night stands, and emotional numbness and non-committment. Oh well....

Well, I guess that's pretty much it. This year will see my first year of college without my confidant who is studying abroad, the one year anniversary with Elliot (quite an achievement for a girl who has been in more laps than most napkins), my 20th birthday (seems like I just got my driver's license) and many other life altering experiences, I'm sure. So, welcome to my sphere!
