This of course doesn't count my reading the texts (or in drafting's case, plays) and recopying notes or whatever.
Well, I just got back from working on my drafting (scenic design) weekly project. It has taken me a total of 20 hours. And I have a new one being assigned tomorrow. Also today I received my first computer science project (sneakily called a homework assignment) that is due in a week and a half. Using last semester's projects as a guide, I'll be spending about 15-20 hours per project again. So this is about 35-40 hours a week every week on those two classes. This of course doesn't count my reading the texts (or in drafting's case, plays) and recopying notes or whatever. Messy.

And then my anthro class has 8 text books. The odd thing is that I am actually keeping up so far. I've been working almost non-stop since classes started. I guess now I'm finally acting like a college student.

I am already disliking a student in my computer science class...he's a total smart ass, and the funny thing is that the professor is annoyed by him too. At least i'm not alone on that one. On the other side of things, I like all the people in my other classes that are smaller than 40 people (which means drafting, begininning acting and linear algebra.) Especially nice is the drafting class. I'm the token freshman in that class, and everyone seems a little weirded out that I'm in there. "You're taking drafting as a freshman? Damn, you're either really brave or really stupid." It's probably both.

So, life is looking better. I'm exercising at the rec center on mwf, so that always a good thing. Not much else seems to be going on except for the usual drama of my friends' lives and broken relationships. I could use a good broken relationship.
