Hey folks... It's been quite a week for me on the women scene. Believe it or not, I got asked out three separate times in two days by three different women. I must admit, I'm flattered by all the attention. Frankly, I haven't had a girlfriend in a while, and it's nice to know that I'm still wanted (sniff, sniff). On a more GUY note... Man, does it feel cool to have three girls pursuing me. I feel like the resident hot item. Huh, I rule... Well, anyway, I wound up turning down the first two and saying that I would, in fact, go to the Delta formal in mid-October with Courtney. It'll be fun. I think I like her. I really don't know. Tough stuff. Sounds strange to you? Well, FEELS strange to me! I really can't tell if I "like" her as anything more than a friend or not. Anyway, it's nice to be back in the saddle again.

On a more academic note, I had some reassurance from other profs in the physics dept. that I would not have trouble with the troll man. If he tries to pull anything on me come scheduling time, I'd be able to count on their support for my side of the case. That's really nice, especially since the words of a lowly undergraduate student carry absolutely zero weight in the department. Classes are going well, but the work is picking up VERY fast and furiously. I'm not behind, but I'm definetly not getting ahead. Treading water, treading water, treading water.

I go away to Roanoke this coming weekend to prepare my team to lead a retreat in January. It's will be GLORIOUS. I've been involved in the program for 3 years, and it really feels good to finally be the final word on things. These retreats are really great, by the way. If you have any questions about them, feel free to email me or post. They have a religious theme, more specifically, Roman Catholic. You do not, however, need to be Catholic to go by any stretch of the imagination to go. That's neither here nor there relative to the week, though.

The downside is that there's gonna be a great party in northern VA at Greg Norman and Alex Shearer's, and I can't go since I'll be in Roanoke. SUCKS. Well, I'm really sorry that this post is quasi-late, but I've been having the absolute work week from hell. SO MUCH TO DO. Well, anyway, it's almost over, so wish me well, and I'll write soon(er). I'm all tangled up in this work mess, and you couldn't figure it out if you wanted to, and since work is all I do these damn days, and you can't figure out my work,

YOU DON'T KNOW JACK
