There's a reason they call it Homecoming. William & Mary really is a home away from home, and I always get a great feeling heading back to the Burg.
I thought I would bring you up to date on the people I did see.It was certainly a busy weekend. I come back, bearing a lot of news for you all, and so I thought I would pass it on. Besides all the people I saw that have never been mentioned on the site, I thought I would bring you up to date on the people I did see that participated last year. Madeline was one of the first people I bumped into. She's doing well, and swears I'll be getting a post for the alumni house soon. She's living at home, working, and getting ready for vet school next fall.
I did see Erica and Jack, and since they did leave, I won't go into detail... but they are doing well.
Caitlyn is still at home, and not so happy about it. She's still on track to go to medical school for her masters next fall, and is currently taking a nursing assistant class to get some experience prior to that.
Bill... well, we all KNOW about Bill. :)
And of all things, I bumped into Mia at Paul's Deli on Saturday night. She's deciding still if she wants to go back to school, and right now is just working at a Starbuck's and saving some money. She and I are going to get back in touch, so hopefully we'll all be hearing from her soon. She did say to tell you all Hi, though.
As if seeing all those alums wasn't enough... I even "signed" a new cast member. I'm still working out the details -- such as her name -- but I can tell you that she is a freshman woman, and a resident on the hall where Julie is an RA. (See, I am trying to get them all linked a bit).
I even "signed" a new cast member. What a weekend it was... My best story from it all is how everyone who I talked to, I discovered they live within about 2 miles of my house in DC. So I have a stack of business cards of people I'm going to get in touch with now, and hopefully the little crowd up here will get a little bigger.
Go forward an entry
