1 year from now... That will be Dec 1997. I will be living in Northern Virginia, probably in Vienna. I'll be living with Eric B (our illustrious Assistant Webmaster) and with John (the noted author of the Student's Guide to William & Mary). We'll have the Evolve Technologies lab in the basement, and will be running the UC Season 2 and the new project.. Codenamed Project Primeau (it will have a formal name when unveiled), it's being written by two friends of ours, Dale Glaser (whose Honors Thesis in creative writing is in Swem Library) and Kathy Healey. In addition, we should be in the late development phase of Project Genesis (that is it's name.. At least until it becomes a product). This is the TOP SECRET project that we're working on... :) So details only when it's done. I will be working up there at one of the technology jobs I'm interviewing with now, as a day job so I can pay the bills.
I'm really excited for the next year.
5 years... Hmmm.. Well, hopefully Evolve will have taken off. Project Genesis should be paying the bills, and I will be working full time on Evolve. Maybe we'll even have moved it out of the basement by then. I'd love to be doing the UC still, and hopefully Primeau will be a success too. Relationship wise... Hehehe Still just dating. I won't be settling down for a while.. My bet is that I'm the last to settle down.
I think my Dad went a little fast... He is on marriage number 3, and they all started rather fast. This one works, and I'm really happy for him, but I don't want to move that fast. Plus, I have a lot I want to be able to throw my energies into before worrying about that.
10 years... Well, Evolve will employ all of our friends who want to work for us.. :) That's the plan. Projects? Who knows.. Hopefully interesting ones. About this time, I may actually be looking at settling down. And dammit, they had better be putting in cable on campus by this point.
