Main Menu Discussion Area
Hey ya'all. Thought I would bring you all up to date on what's new around here. Everyone's back in town, and we're here until Dec 21. I got an E-Mail today from a reader who was pleased that we stayed live through Thanksgiving, and wanted to know what the deal was for Christmas. Well, I have the answer, true believers!!

Posts remain "live" (ie, freshly written) until Dec 22. From Dec 23 to Jan 12, we're running three weeks of special posts for you all. We go live again on Jan 13.

During the first week, the participants will be answering this question:

Where do you see yourself in a year? in 5 years? in 10 years?

Week two is this:

2. What world problem concerns you the most, and how would you solve it?

And finally, as Christmas break winds down,

3. Who in your family do you get along with the best? The worst?

I'll be honest with you all -- I'll be receiving the answers to these questions before we leave campus, so officially the participants have three weeks off. A couple of them are coming to me and saying that they want to post over Christmas as well, and will still be active on the Discussion Area. For me, this is optional, but I'm encouraging it (of course!). So, ask your favorite poster (and do it on the Discussion Area, so everyone can read) if they'll be around for Christmas, and if you should be expecting new material from them.

So that is the plan.

The other big news is two fold. The first is that we are now soliciting to sell ad space on the University Center. So, if you want to buy space (or your company does), it's really affordable and just get in touch with me about it. This also means that we're moving. We have chosen a new ISP for the site, and our address will be moving sometime in the near future to Evolve Technologies new home. We'll let you know what the new URL is when we have it, and the main link, and the menu page, will point to the new location when we move.

Anyways, I have an InfoTech presentation tomorrow, a paper to write, a project to do, a paper due Friday, and three mini papers all to hammer out. I'm gonna be busy, so I'm off. Talk to ya all soon.

BTW, if you ever have questions about the site, holler at me -- I'll answer them here or on the DA if you want.
