Hey y'all- how is everything going? I just thought I would post about this
weekend since it was my birthday. On Friday, me,
Courtney
,
Paul
, Jack, and
Madeline went to Peking to eat dinner before we went to The Bar. We went
into this pet store that is right next to the restaurant and they had these
really cool birds. I know nothing about animals so I will guess they were
parrots which is probably wrong. They were big, colorful, talking birds.
Anyway, this one bird pretty much attacked Madeline, it must have been a boy
bird because it went right for her breast like any other typical male. Then
we went to The Bar and it was packed. Sara was there with her boyfriend and
my roommate Mandy decided to go with us. I was so excited! Mandy is
sort of depressed right now because about a week ago her boyfriend left for
Japan for an entire year. He is going to be studying at Kanazawa University.
I had never been out with Mandy before even though we have been great
friends for 3 years. It was a lot of fun. Then we went to Paul's and
everyone bought me a drink. I couldn't drink all of them because I am a baby
drinker and some of them were just gross. One drink that
Sean
gave me was a
Kamikaze and I swear it tasted like cleaning fluid- I just could not drink
it because I thought I would be sick.
Jack did get sick- kind of a funny
story actually. He and Madeline were drinking with each other drink for
drink. I went to beach week with Jack and I knew how he could be so I was
worried about Madeline. But she thought she could handle it so who am I to
say anything. Well Jack inhaled some beer or so he say and threw up all over
himself. It was so bad that he had to go home and change. Not that I laugh
at others misfortune but it was really funny. I love Jack to death but as I
am sure you see in his posts, he is one cocky bastard who thinks he is god.
Anyway- that was my birthday. It was fun and I don't think I got too drunk.
The only bad part was
Pete
called me a bitch to my face. Pete was visiting
and we were talking about something and he said "Well that is because you
ARE a bitch." What a dork- at my birthday party and everything.
On Saturday I Had dinner with DJ Dave and Rick M. It was really neat because
I talk to Rick all the time on e-mail but I had never met him. We had a nice
dinner and pretty much talked about everything. Saturday night after Club
Camm, Paul and I had a fight. He is really a jerk sometimes and it makes me
wonder why we are even dating. He can be so immature when we talk about
something that he doesn't want to talk about. On Saturday he hung up on me
so I pretty much just ignored him until he grew up and felt he could handle
mature conversations. When he acts like he is in kindergarten, it is kind of
hard to talk to him. When we talk everything through he never wants to solve
the problem, just smooth it over. Maybe I want to discuss things too much,
but by not discussing them at all, the only thing that results is more fights.
Today (Monday) the sisters are going to pref. for littles. I am nervous
since
Courtney and I want the same person. Though at this point there isn't much I
can do because the new members already prefed last night. Everything is
pretty much decided so I guess I can only hope for the best. I will probably
post the results in my Thursday post- we should know by then. Talk to y'all
later.:)
