Well...finally some feedback on one of my posts. I go to check mail and find that one of the "weasels" in question (one of Erica and my mutual friends) took exception to the reference. Bernard Jolly wrote me telling me that I was the pot calling the kettle black. The group of guys that I lived with last year (including Greg Norman and Bernie) was introduced to me as "the Weasels". It figures that the one to react to my statement would be the one guy who earned the rest of them the name.
Mike is coming back to visit this weekend. He's due in any time. Dana should be down in a couple of hours. Sean finally moved in and the last of the poster hanging has been finished. Maria is coming to visit him this weekend. I've reached a point where I want the attacks to stop (and after this week's postings on the discussion board, they probably will).
I finally talked to Chris (the singer from the band I'm in) and he and I are going to work out the kinks built up from not playing together in 4 months.
First musical recommendation of the year (finally). The new live double CD from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones is out. It covers material recorded from 1992-96. Check it out (especially the stuff not on their studio albums). It has appearances by Sam Bush (of New Grass Revival), Paul McCandless (of the jazz group Oregon), Bruce Hornsby, Chick Corea, Branford Marsalis, and former Flecktone Howard Levy. Check it out if jazz, bluegrass, or fusion are your thing.
