Main Menu Discussion Area

Woah! things done got all hot and heavy on the discussion area again...

Despite my direct involvement in the goings on around here, I must admit that I too prefer to read the discussion board when something mean and gritty is going on. Unfortuantely, that means that somewhere, someone along the line is getting dumped on, which is never as much fun to live through as it is to read about. I tend to be a troublemaker, but early in the development of the site I realized that if I wanted to live with these people, there was a little something called TACT that would be essential. Nevertheless, when someone goes off, it certainly is a big temptation to step back to rubbernecking status and just watch.

Aside from that, I am at something of a loss for stuff to post about. To get the truly trivial stuff out of the way; I was dissappointed with this past Sunday's "Lois and Clark". The villain was supposed to be one of my favorite comic book characters, but the only thing the TV villain and the printed version shared was a name. The secret identity, powers, style, everything was different. The other version is infinitely more badass. On the up side, the Tribble episode of Deep Space Nine ruled. Now, I know that you all are reading this on a computer screen, so you probably like Star Trek too. There is a definite correlation between the two. So the question is, what did everyone else think about the new tribble story? This is meant to display exactly how pressed for stuff to post about I am.

Yes! I too have met the mighty Rick M.! We all went to Ruby Tuesday's and, to quote SNL character Tiny Elvis, "Those Desserts were HUGE!". Rick gets major props for magnanimousness/magnanimity/whatever the hell the term is. To quote my pal Brian Mason, "that guy...he's got some skills". He's also got that nifty ass warmer in the front seats of his car. I got to listen to both Madeline and Caitlyn extol the virtues of the "automotive bun warmer". I tell you, someone left the window open in the room that I'm in and I sure could use one of those bad boys to toast my tucas right now. My ass is FREEZING in here!! Speaking of cold, I found the gap in the buffalo fetish...I can't stand the Bills. They rate as one of my least favorite NFL teams. I don't know why; just some irrational distrust of anyone stealing my name. BWAAAAAHAAAHAAA!!

The band I'm in had its first gig for the semester this past week. It was also our first chance to play in public with our new guitarist. It went pretty well and our frontman is looking into getting us some more shots at playing.

I'm outa here,

Bill the Cat (or is that Fritz the Cat)
