I'm starting to get damn sick of being so busy. But hey!...I guess it beats working.

Having been a slacker for most of my life, I'm not used to having a hard time finding out when to schedule things. Fortunately, most of the stuff that I have to do in the evenings isn't too difficult or time consuming. Unfortunately, I've had to find a substitute for my raio show for the second time in 3 weeks. Most nights, I'm either at work, at the radio show, at a basketball game (yes, I have to go to them...don't ask why). I'm rambling about this, so I'll move on to a different topic now.

Randy left town to work on a research project he's involved with. He's asked me to house-sit his apartment while he's gone. It's nice, because it gives me access to cable, as well as giving me some idea what it'll be like when I actually have to take care of my own place after graduation. Speaking of which...the college has just sent me the message that I *can* in fact graduate in May. I knew that the computer system said that I was OK on my requirements, but it's nice to read something that actually says the words "You will be able to graduate."

I find it amusing that around here, Jack is putting up a front like he doesn't care about the site, but that he continues to read and post on the discussion area. It seems like every time I'm in his room, he's reading the discussion area. I hear that he posted something there, but I still haven't had a chance to check it out. Wait...don't tell me...I want to be surprised.

I picked up the two new Bill Frisell discs the end of last week. One of them is a album of covers, including a Madonna tune, a Bob Dylan song, John Phillip Sousa's Washington Post March, and all of Aaron Copeland's "Billy the Kid."

Dana surprised me by visiting this weekend. For a while, I thought I wasn't going to see her until Valentine's day. Then, I bought the train tickets to visit her this weekend, but I still didn't think I'd see her until Friday. But one morning this weekend, I answered a knock at the door to find her standing there...I win. She took me out to lunch and then we rented the Stephen Baldwin/Lawrence Fishburne movie, "Fled." Not bad, if a little weak in the plot department.

I have to get to work. I'm writing this one in the office and its starting time.

later folks,

Bill
