Allison Woodling

Alright...I just opened up the Dark & Dry and it's time to reflect back on this week of weirdness.
I'm presently making the final cuts of my routine for synchro (Duet). The music is from the musical "Carousel" and the coach wants the team to use it 'cause she really likes it. The only thing about it is that it's a waltz and we have only learned how to choreograph 4-count music. Oh well...it'll be unique.
I was only going to be there for an hour or so but I think it was imperative that I stayed.Last Thursday night I went out to Paul's. I was only going to be there for an hour or so but I think it was imperative that I stayed. A good friend was having a major crisis. It's something like the feeling you get when someone hurts you so much, and it only hurts because you love them...like someone reaching into your heart and twisting tears out of the arteries until your body is drained of hope. Well, I tried to help the wounded heart and offer personal opinions on his situation. I'm sure he'll work things out. Friday...oh my. let me tell you. I was at a Gamma function and was totally shrugged of by a sister there who thought I was imposing on "her" party. If it hadn't been on a boat I would have left. On Saturday I took pictures at the Kappa date party and I had a blast! I know a lot of the sisters there and they wanted me to have a good time. The social chair came up to me as I was putting the camera away and said: "Allison, get that there and dance. This is a party and I ain't seen you party yet!" It really was worth it...the easiest $30 I've ever made. Sunday was nap-day.
Monday I signed my life away to the William and Mary Mermettes. I really am glad I made that decision. Next semester we do a lot of travelling. Right now, I think there are only twelve team members.
Anyhow (damn this Woodchuck tastes good)...Ed comes into town on Friday and I am unbelievably excited. I didn't think it was possible to miss someone this much but I can't help it. He's a very special man and I feel very lucky to be with him. He doesn't even care that I am an evil, wretched creature in the morning. Ed even took the time out of his schedule late Sunday night to proofread my paper for my grad-class. I'm smitten!
Speaking of smitten...I hear Mike Peters has a new woman here in Williamsburg. I think that is really cool, but if I find out that she's a redhead I will have to find the Iron Spike and hit someone in the head very hard. He only has to keep the pledge 2 years more. I am so happy he found someone who makes him happy. He deserves the best out there and I hope he's found it.
If I find out that she's a redhead I will have to find the Iron Spike and hit someone in the head very hard. Now that I've spread some joy and happiness I'm going to drink some more Woodchuck and await the "call of the wild."
Go forward an entry
