Well, I hope you guys enjoyed reading about my awesome adventure on Sunday! This has turned out to be a fantastic week. Wednesday, I finally met Mia Robinson. We were the only University Center participants who didn't know each other. We had lunch at the Cheese Shop and had plenty of opportunity to talk. We have SOOOO many friends in common. She did look familiar from here and there, but I had just never been introduced to her.

On another note, our Beta tresurer has granted me an extension to pay my dues. The Education Department hasn't paid me yet and I've been working since August! Since I was given the extension...I can go to the Beta formal. My friend Sean and his girlfriend Maria are my invite couple, but I still need a date of my own. Until Tuesday I was going with Eric (as friends), but that just isn't going to happen. He wants to have things as they were and that isn't what I want at all. Our formal is next Saturday and on that day we are going to reveal to our "little sisters." Yes, I know I just got one a month and a half ago...but now I have another one. Her name is Kia Malone. She's a sophomore and is a William and Mary cheerleader. She is so cool. We were matched with the pledges totally at random but I am so happy with Kia. More people to spoil...

I had two exams today -- economics and kayaking. Both went really well, especially the latter. Here's a sample question:

Q. If you wet exit your kayak, your next immediate step is to...

C'mon is that simple or what?

Before I sign off so I can go study Geography, just a quick reminder about Dave's contest. ENTER!!! Send Dave your logo ideas. We really need something unique. Prizes!!!

Well, I hate to be brief but I need to study (and put a top coat of nail polish on).

Smile lots! Allison
