Well, I'm finally settling into my classes, but there is so much to do. I'm going out of town for the weekend, and Jack will be there too. It's the first full week of classes and I've already had a paper due. How annoying. Anyhow, on my las post I mentioned that one of my classes was discussing the William and Mary seal. We figured out that it was a gift from a school in London and that the buildings are supposed to be representative of A college, not OUR college. The buildings are silver, serving as our solid foundation. The sun in the horizon and golden and representative of the staff that bring the students (green grass) to life. Finally, the blue sky is our future, our dreams. So, in effect, our school colors are not simply green and gold, but also blue and silver. That's kind of cool because my high school colors were blue and silver.
Anyhow, I talked to Erica last night and she seems to be doing well. Of course, she is actively searching for work and had some interviews recently. I also spoke with Dana Flint and Sigrid, both are hanging in there. They were watching "Sense and Sensibility" when I called. I still haven't seen it...I really should.
Last Saturday, my little sister had a huge party at her house. It was full of loud, drunk people. John Michaels showed up after a while, but I just missed him. It was fun, but I only stayed a while.
Okay kids, I need to go pack....
Love ya,
