Theme: What world problem concerns you the most, and how would you solve
it?
World Problems?? So many, so unfortunate. I suppose the most threatening
is lack of faith. Not necessarily in a god of one kind or another, but in
friends, families, neighbours. I know that with so much crime it is hard
to have faith or trust in others but I truly believe that a little trust
and a little confidence could do us all a lot of good. What can I do?
Well this also is what you can do. Trust a little more. If you have a
strong faith in God, put your entire soul into preserving your faith. If
you don't, at least think about the wonder of a totally trusting society.
If you trust your friends, continue to depend on their love and friendship.
I know I value my friendships will all my heart. And if you have no faith
at all, or very little, listen up...
Breathe in, breath out. Smile. Sigh. Think of the purest joy you have
experienced in your lifetime. Picture your dreams, cry if you want to.
Then have faith in yourself. Have faith that your dreams will come true.
Know that because others have trusted you with secrets, lives, hopes,
sorrows -- that you have helped to make this world a better place. Open
your soul -- dream. If we all do, imagine the peace that would spread
across the world. And make this your New Year's resolution.
Peace,
A.W.
