This is a terrific week. Valentine's Day proved to be wonderfully sweet.
Jacob cooked me his special chicken dish and we watched a movie. I
snuck over to his dorm and decorated his door with heart streamers and
doilies. The Mu Alpha was on Saturday and it was so much
fun. We tried to waltz but just settled for holding each other close.
Sunday was a sleepy day and Monday was terrific. I discoverd that I am
now Beta's Informal Rush Chair which means I have so much work to do for
that. I am also Beta's Greek Activities person which means working on
stuff like the Homecomming float and Derby Days. Tuesday I was accepted
as an OAD (Orientation Aide Director) for next year. You may recall that
I was an OA this year, and now I can help be at the heart of
orientation. I am so excited about the whole thing. And what has made
the week even more exciting? Spring Fever! The birds are chirping, the
flowers are confused, the mulch is stinky, people are giddy, Benadryl is
scarce, sunroofs are open, shades are worn, and I am happy.
I finally dropped evil Islam class. It was way too hard for me. But I
will keep my sense of humor. What a day.
Oh, and for those of you who wanted to see it... my tattoo, Little Drunk
Bug, will be in a gallery DJDave is putting up this weekend.
