Wow. I guess it has been a week already. I know last weeks post was really on a serious note, but I am going to keep that up for a while. First, I'd like to mention some more about the retreat I was on the other weekend. I was given the opportunity to keep a journal and I found it to be useful. I hadn't re-read it since this morning and I wanted to share some exerpts.

On the first day I was posed the question. "Do I experience acceptance when I return home - into God's love?"
My response was this: "I have yet to return...please help me."

On the last day, part of my journal reads: "Well, first I notice that on Thursday and Friday I wrote in plain blue pen. Today am am colorful. I feel like a rainbow and I am smiling in the light."

The weekend as a whle brought to mind one particular song. It is the Mountain Song by Vertical Horizon.

"This mountain, we must climb over,
This mountain, we must climb.
Take care, look over your shoulder,
I'm there all the time.
If you're lost, and you need someone to count on,
Oh, you can look to me,
'Cause it's times like these
when a good friend is a savior,
You come running home back to me..."

I will probably post again Tuesday night. There are a few things I have to say about my life (good stuff) and Ed Baker gave me another question of the week which needs more thought.

I am leaving to go home tomorrow for the weekend so my Daddy can help me do my taxes.

Peace, Allison
