What what a crazy couple of weeks it has been. The Monday before the break I told my roommate that I was moving out next semester. I'm switching rooms in the Beta House. I am going to have the President's single since she is graduating in December. Jennifer was really pissed about it because now she could get stuck with any other Beta and she has absolutely no say in the matter. I am just so sick of living with her and her boyfriend, Jae Chang. He is always in our room and he snores like a hog. Last night when I went to bed at 3 after finishing a paper he was snoring so loud that he was probably driving the rats in out kitchen crazy! I was lying in bed complaining quietly to myself when Jennifer says to me "Shut up will you? I've had to put up with this for hours and you don't hear me complaining. Besides, I've heard you snore once or twice." Oooohhh, I was SO mad. I pay rent to snore in that room, Jae pays to snore across campus. My precious beauty sleep is not to be disturbed by an imposter. I also informed her that he is not staying here after this wekend because of exams and everything. I will put my foot down.
Well, we have a Date Party tonight at the Green Leafe. It is a "Screw Your Family Party" meaning big sisters set up their littles and visa versa. So Kia said that she set me up with a hottie, but I won't find out who it is until later. I set her up with a friend who I went to High School with. He'll have a good time. As for Erica (since I had to set her up too), she is going with Michelle, a good friend of hers. To drive her boyfriend Alex crazy, I've been hiding the fact that she isn't going with a real date. I told him she was going with a cute first-year student. Well..it's true. She's cute and she is a first year grad student. I'm so mean.
Anyway, I am so glad my papers are done. I did one over the break. On that Saturday I went a party at Craig's house in Ashburn. It was really fun and YES, I WAS COMPLETELY SOBER. Erica can verify that.
Well, I need to go get ready. I am happy because today I got a new piano book. Alfred's Piano Book Level One for Adults. No more silly children's songs.
Love ya,
Allison
