Comprehensive Disaster Recovery: Evolve Technologies offers the only cohesive Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) service designed to protect multiple Windows 2000 and 2003 Servers against critical data loss while expediting data recovery in the event of server failure. A Network Attached Storage (NAS) device is installed to backup as many as eight servers or up to two tera bytes (TB). In the event of server failure, the NAS device provides fast virtualization capabilities, is completely automatic and replaces management intensive, error-prone tape backups. Notably, in a disaster where an entire office is lost, a new NAS can be imaged for use as a virtual server with the most current backup information intact.
Practical Backup Solution: The Offsite Backup service continues Evolve Technologies’ focus on disaster recovery and business continuity solutions. Offsite Backup allows Evolve Technologies to perform complete data restorations for workstations, servers or NAS devices, ensuring that the operating system, applications and data of any machine remain unharmed. To expedite response times and constrain costs, all offsite backups and data restorations are performed remotely using protected Internet connections. In addition, secure offsite storage is provided at Evolve Technologies two hardened data center locations.
